Welcome to Direct Energy Audit ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.

1. Services

Direct Energy Audit provides energy assessment services, including residential energy audits, construction blower door tests, and energy audits for CMHC MLI Select Program compliance. All services are subject to availability and outlined scope.

2. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information required for the performance of our services.
Allow access to your property or facility for on-site assessments when necessary.
Follow any recommendations provided in the service report at your own discretion and risk.

3. Payment Terms

All services are billed according to the pricing listed on our website or agreed upon in a contract.
Payment must be made in full upon service completion or as otherwise specified in the service agreement.
Applicable taxes (e.g., HST) are additional unless explicitly stated.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee.
Refunds are only provided in cases where services cannot be delivered due to circumstances under our control.

5. Limitation of Liability

Direct Energy Audit is not liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
Losses or damages arising from the implementation of recommendations in the energy audit report.
Failure to achieve specific energy savings or financial incentives.

Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount paid by you for the service in question.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, reports, and documentation provided by Direct Energy Audit are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

7. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
